InfoPath Dev

I have several fields on my form which require, as part of the calculation, to calculate the square root of another field. Since square root isn't one of the basic functions shown in the insert function window, I assume I'm going to need to write some code to do this. Does anyone know how I would go about this? Thanks. I finally stumbled onto the solution to my problem, though I still don't know what caused it. If I go to the bottom of my repeating section and click Delete, my extra spaces disappear in Preview mode. Stephanie, Yes, I did remove all the white spaces within the optional sections. As I said previously, some sections were directly above/below each other while others were separated by several spaces, so this is really most noticeable when you have a lot of sections. Most of my forms have 20 - 30 optional sections. Thanks for trying this ...
