So this is my first foray into using code with InfoPath. Actually it's only my second foray into c#, so I came here to the experts for assistance. Here is the scenario based on my customer's requirements. For this particular piece of the form there are 2 external data sources. One is Regions and one is Market (Market contains ...

When an option button is selected, each created button has an individual assigned value. Initially these are numbers 1,2,3 etc. Is it possible to set this assigned value to a value that is unknown when the form is created by using an xpath or expression or something else that points to a field that is being filled at form load?

Can we take this one step further and change the check boxes to an option button and during the load when it loads the label can it also set the default configuration 'value when checked' value of the option button to be the same as the label? Is that even possible?

Does anyone know of a way to format a multiple-selection listbox so the items appear in a word-wrap sort of format with multiple columns, rather than in a single long column? I thought maybe a filter using a div or something, but am not really sure how to accomplish this.

That worked and somehow I managed to fix the formatting issue. Not exactly sure what I did though.

Ok, I have gotten it to return values. It is not suppressing the first repeating field like it is in the other two 'columns'. Also, what's up with the weird formatting? I would love for all 'columns' to look like the center one. I don't have anything set on those fields.

Did that. The error is gone AND the success node is selected, but there are no fields. There should be 84 and there are only the 3 showing that are actually in the form.

Ok, got it with no errors in the formula. When I go to preview I am still not getting those inserted though and the error node indicates: Failed to insert the child node.

Trying to do that the way I think it should be done, by selecting field or group and selecting Market Country, then add the rest of the line, I get a formula error.

No worries. I don't begin to think that you have all the time in the world when it comes to my questions. I believe its where you indicated it should be. I have attached the template.
