Repeating section inside repeating section stays bound to first item's data source

Happy New Year! My form has a repeating section where inside at the top of it a table holds some controls and at the bottom of it (still inside) another repeating section holds a table with some controls. It's like this because the table at the top of the section contains a dropdown of different Record IDs (lookup from a SharePoint list) and ...

re: Free Training: Design Your InfoPath Form Template (Lab 1)

Jennifer, You wrote above in Step 2 of the "Publish Your Form To SharePoint" section to "enter the URL to your SharePoint My Site." I'm hoping this means it's possible to publish form data to a document library created under a SharePoint 'My Site.' I'll take this to the forums if it gets too long, but basically I have a form ...

Re: How to - display specific text when a corresponding dropdown choice is made

You're awesome!!! Thank you. In tinkering around, I may have found another solution (although, less dynamic)...when I set a rule I choose 'Add Action' and then 'Set a field's value' to the text I need to display. Good team work! I appreciate your help. :)

Re: How to - display specific text when a corresponding dropdown choice is made

Ok...so, to be sure I understand...for this one dropdown box I should have one single text box. As they go through this form and make choices, text boxes with specific language they will need to use on their resource request is displayed. When they submit the ...

Re: How to - display specific text when a corresponding dropdown choice is made

Thanks for your reply. Maybe I'm not understanding promoted properties correctly, but I don't think that's what I need. I have a dropdown with 7 choices. For each of these options, there's a corresponding text box. I've got the conditional formatting working right so that when a dropdown choice is made the matching text box ...

Re: How to - display specific text when a corresponding dropdown choice is made

Hi, Thanks for the reply. Sorry for the delay. Yes, the video helped. I appreciate it. Here's the bit I'm not understanding...I've set up the condition so that if a particular value is chosen in a dropdown, then a specific textbox with text corresponding to the dropdown choice is displayed. I need this corresponding text to be ...

How to - display specific text when a corresponding dropdown choice is made

Hi, I'm sure this question has been asked before...I'm just not sure how to phrase the question, so I didn't find anything in the archives. I need to display corresponding paragraphs of text when different dropdown choices are made. We are developing an online form which is intended to make things easier for our contract ...
