I finally put together something similar to your solution. I added a hidden field to my submitted form called FormView and upon Submit I set that field to whatever view was being submitted. They I changed my Form Load rule to look at the FormView field value and then open the view I linked to it. My solution is a bit ... Posted to General (Forum) by Sandy_Wood on 07-31-2013 Opening a form based on a submitted view I've got a form that has three different possible views that can be submitted to a single SharePoint 2010 form library. Once they are submitted, I haven't found a way to open the submitted forms based on the views they were submitted with. I thought a Form Load Rule might do the trick by having the Submit button stamp the submitted ... Posted to Views (Forum) by Sandy_Wood on 07-30-2013 Re: Creating a 'summary' view to only display fields that have been filled in I hadn't thought about tables or categories. I'm still fairly new to InfoPath and that's the primary reason I've got so many checkboxes. Lack of experience laying things out. Could you give me an idea how tables might help me out? Say I've got 20 check boxes (OK, stop laughing) that I convert to a table. If a user selects ... Because my form has many checkboxes, I haven't found a way to arrange the filled-in fields on a summary view so that they all collapse up in a nice order. I've been able to hide the empty controls but now the filled in fields are visible in the middle of the page. Posted to Views (Forum) by Sandy_Wood on 07-26-2013 Creating a 'summary' view to only display fields that have been filled in What I'm looking to achieve is a summary of only the items that a user has checked or entered. My forms views have text fields, dates and check boxes. I'd like the final, summary page to only display only those items that were entered or checked. I'm not sure how to configure a new 'view' to go get only these fields to ... Posted to Views (Forum) by Sandy_Wood on 07-23-2013 How to edit a Data Connection (.udcx) file to add embedded credentials I'm interested in finding out how to embed specific credentials in a .udcx file. Is there a whitepaper somewhere that details some of the options? Posted to Data Connections (Forum) by Sandy_Wood on 07-17-2013 Re: Form Load Rule to Switch Views Based On Option Button Now that's creative! I hadn't thought about that. So for example, say I attach a rule to a picture button that loads a new view. The user will never really see the selected button, will they? Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by Sandy_Wood on 07-03-2013 Re: Form Load Rule to Switch Views Based On Option Button Thanks Mel. I'm thinking my strategy of setting an option button at form load is not the way I should go. I really want to load a new form when an option button is selected but it doesn't appear that this is possible without custom coding. I see I could use a standard button, that allows me to open a new form, but I don't ... Posted to Browser Forms (Forum) by Sandy_Wood on 07-02-2013 Form Load Rule to Switch Views Based On Option Button I've created a Form Load Rule in InfoPath 2013 to Switch to another view base on an Option Button being clicked and equaling 1. When I view the main form in Preview, and click the Option Button, nothing happens. Do I need to publish the form first check if it works?
