 That's pretty easy to do, here's an example, you make the default equal to the corresponding field of the data source  filtered by the first field (../../../my:group1/my:group2/my:field2[current()/../my:field6 = ../my:field1])

Why are you building libraries to hold (what I would call) orphaned forms? Build logic in your form so that it looks up other data and then allows users to do whatever they can...... For example, I have a form that anyone can create, it asks for the persons immediate managers name doesn't matter who that is, when the manager opens the form ...

This is a simple way of doing it, what you want to do with the data after you have filtered it is another story!
