OK, I figured out a way to make it work. I added a text field outside of the repeating table that concatenates the two drop-downs. I also added a field in my repeating table that concatenates the two fields I want to compare to the drop downs. Then I have the rule only run if ALL OCCURENCES of the concat field do not match the ...

I still haven't been able to work this out. I tried putting a rule on the repeating table that if [drop-down1 = preceding-sibling:group/field to compare] to set a checkbox, and then run my rule off of that checkbox = true. However, I need it to reset if the drop-downs change. Please note, the drop-downs are outside of ...

Basically I want a condition that will not allow a rule to run if a table row(s) contains both values of the drop-down list boxes.

I know you can use the "any occurence of []" but what if I want to filter on a row based on two values?
I have 2 drop downs list boxes that contain data that may exist in the table. I want to make sure that the table does not have a row who's 2 fields do not match the drop downs.

So it would basically be a different table? The problem is, I don't know how many tables I might need. I might need 2 to 4 depending on the number of venues.
And what about submitting to a list? Would I need seperate SubmitToSharePointList commands?

Yes, I was trying to do a SubmitToSharePointList with nested data.
Basically, if I can't get the repeating tables in the repeating sections populated from my gear list (as per the topic of this thread), I was going to workaround the issue, by submitting to a secondary list, pulling it back into another table in my form (saved gear), ...

I need to filter on a category field that exists in the list. So I set the category query field in the list, and have it match a category drop-down that the user selects. This drop-down also initiates the copy table.
Another question . . . I am setting up the alternatvie method of submitting the table to a list and copying back ...

Thanks for your time Hilary. What I'm trying to accomplish might be too complicated (for me).
I'm still trying to create a gear order form. The gear that is being ordered can possibly be going to multiple venues, therefore I will need seperate instances of the gear list. The number of instances depends on the ...

Also, my secondary data source isn't nested. So does this apply? My 2DS is a list on SP. I would like to just copy that table into repeating sections. I noticed your schemas matched.

OK, I'm going to have to absorb this one for awhile. I think I'm starting to see what you have going on. I moved the rules from the counter filed and applied them directly to the button. When I click the button the first time, it inserts the table rows and copies the data. When I click it the second time, it just ...
