Makes sense - I just usually start with questioning things like that. :) I think InfoPath may not be the right solution here since you need to be able to all work on the same data at the same time.

Not to drop any names, but it is for the same reason that a group may need to work on a document/powerpoint on Google Drive (which is real-time collaboration). Our type of business does not have time to pass around a document and wait for everyone to do their part because of the nature of the forms purpose. It is far more efficient to do a ...

Hi - InfoPath doesn't have anything that I know of that would allow multiple users to work on the same XML at the same time. I don't know of a way to export an InfoPath form to Excel or Word, I'm afraid.
Why do multiple users need to be able to change the same data at the same time?

I am also open to moving it to MS Word if I can get a concurrent editing function working. I can't use SharePoint, and SkyDrive does not have enough space.

Am wondering if I need to change the submit location but if I do this how do I manage the permissions so ...

I have a form that was originally designed in IP2003. I now have IP2010 and was making some updates to the form when I noticed that some of the controls available in IP2010 are not available notably Combo Box, Multiple-Selection List Box, Person/Group Picker etc. I've checked a few places online and it looks pretty involved converting an ...

I think relinking the forms may do this - that will update the modified by and modified date tho. I know for some people that is a BIG DEAL and for others it is not.
You can go to the relink view and relink just one to see if it populates the data....
I believe this can also be done in PowerShell without changing the modified info - but ...
