Hi again,
OK, I looked into this and we did drop a hotfix for the relative path issue on 12/10 but we haven't uploaded this to our trial download site yet. I'm guessing that may be because we still haven't had time to test it. Anyway, I've asked Mel Balsamo to send you the latest DBXL v2.4 drop from 2010-12-10 (you can verify ...

Hi Harishu,
Rest assured that you will get a working solution. We have many people using the latest release and there are no blocking bugs that we know of. Of course, we will fix any blocking issues that come up, but my first guess is that this may be a config issue.
What time zone are you in? Can we set up a Live Meeting to debug this with you? ...

I'm a little confused. Are you saying that you are trying to edit the form in OWA? OWA doesn't support editing InfoPath forms since it's a browser based email viewer and InfoPath doesn't work in the browser unless you have SharePoint IPFS. Editing InfoPath forms in email via Outlook 2003 doesn't work either. You'll ...

Hi Quinttin,
Yes, it's easy to set the form status to New based on either User Roles or just the absence of some other data.
You can add a field for "FormStatus" to your form and set it based on some conditions. For example, if they press "Approve" button the FormStatus is set to "Approved". It's easy to do ...

Dude, that code doesn't add more than one so it won't work for repeating. This is a lot more difficult than you think. It's the reason we developed a Web Service back in 2004 that does this for arbitrarily deep repeating XML structures. It's not something you can code up in a day or two. Think about it.

Hi Amigo1982 and welcome,
Does your Web Service take the entire XML or just a parameter? To pass it a repeating structure may require passing the entire string to the WS and having it map it to SQL. Qdabra Software, sponsor of this site, provides a database Web Service called DBXL that allows you to set up a mapping like this. It supports ...

For domain security, users just need to be in the domain. If they navigate to the website, it will show Local Intranet in the status bar (for Internet Explorer) - that means it will work with domain security. It's easy to have users change this on their own by going to IE tools->settings->security and adding the site to your local ...

Can't disable that one.

Hi Mark,
Restricted-mode email forms are a great solution but they are not web-enabled forms (users must have InfoPath). In addition, they are very limited due to the restricted security mode. They must be sent in email as an XSN (just attach the form template). Make sure you are using the InfoPath Filler settings to create it. You don't have ...
