What will not allow you? Can you explain the issue you've run into?
InfoPath allows you to have a button that uses Rules. Within a rule, one of the options for Actions is Submit Data. So you could, for example, set a field's value, Submit data, and Close the form: three actions in one button.
Please elaborate so we can help. Thanks.

Verifica si la lista en Sharepoint muestra 100 registros solamente. La consulta solo trae el maximo permitido por Sharepoint. Creo que se puede aumentar, individualmente, para cada lista.

Any updates on this issue? Any luck with the advice above?

El Dropdown guarda el ID, pero puedes utilizar un campo (que no tienes que mostrar en tu formulario). En este campo guardas el valor de tu dropdown, y utilizas ese campo en tu filtro (y no el dropdown). Que te parece?

I'm pretty sure you would need to modify your web service to allow for this, i.e. pass in a value that the web service then uses to filter the data.

Just change the button to use Rules instead. A button that uses Rules is able to Submit, but a button that is configured to just Submit cannot have other rules.
Good luck!

To summarize, you'll be able to create user roles in your form, and depending on the role the user falls in you can send the user to a different view. A quick Google search is sure to yield some step by step tutorials from MSDN or other ...

Hi Phil,
You mention the source parameter, and that's really all that needs to be changed. I have implemented this in a SharePoint data view, where I can manipulate the URL using SharePoint designer and add a source parameter with the URL that users will be sent to. If you are working with a data view take a look at SharePoint designer and ...

Hi, would you be able to expand on your question, your scenario, steps you are taking, and how it is related to InfoPath? I don't think your post has enough information to understand the problem. Thanks.

I see you are using a default value for the GUID field. This means that everytime the value of RESULT changes, the value of GUID will also change. Therefore, this will not work.
Please try the following: after calling GenerateGuid, add another action that will set the value of GUID in the main data source (to Result).
