Hi Iokje,
I would map the items to a SharePoint list as separate rows and run the workflows off of those. qRules provides mapping to SharePoint. It takes a few minutes to get the mapping from XML to ShP list configured but after that it's smooth sailing.
You can reference your items in a repeating table using xpath. Just use brackets to ...

by any chance is it the first item in the dropdown that you are selecting first?
if so, you probably just need to set the auto-fill to use the correct xpath function to pull the correct values over. i.e. preceding-sibling or current

Just do both but take care to have your rules set up on load so that one doesn't overwrite the other if you don't want it to.

Well SharePoint 2007 supports content types. You could publish from InfoPath 2007 and your users could use 2003. Or, you could try to upload the XSNs from SharePoint - not sure if that will work, but fundamentally SharePoint 2007 supports content types. It has nothing to do with InfoPath except at time of publish. In other words, if you can get ...

I suggest mapping your repeating table rows to a SharePoint list that has a workflow defined on it. Download and instal the free qRules v2.4 and use the ShP List Mapping tool to create a mapping. Inject qRules into your form and add the mapping and a connection to the ShP list ...

Hi UdayaHerath,
If you are using the InfoPath filler in 2007 or 2010 you can use qRules v2.4 SetCaption command to do this. Won't work in the browser nor InfoPath 2003. Too bad it looks like you have InfoPath 2003.

This is a known issue with publish to SharePoint. InfoPath stores a GUID for each of the property columns in the manifest.xsf. If you aren't careful and save your XSN locally and then publish it to SharePoint, but forget to save the published version back locally and then go back to that locally saved version and republish it guess what? ...
