• Re: Digital Signature with email submission

It would be best to convert the email submit from a rule to code, then you can force the signature dialog to appear if the sig is not already added. When the dialog is closed, you can check whether a new sig was added by checking for changes to the sig count. If one was added, then submit the email, otherwise present an error dialog. • Re: Performance Tips

Thanks for sharing this. As for the appendChild issue you are having, you can avoid schema change problems by loading the SampleData.xml file, selecting and cloning the node you wish to insert, fill in any data in the clone, and then append it. To make the active field more visible to the form user, you can use conditional formatting, the OnContextChange event, and named node properties. • Re: .NET and Printer

Actually, I've never done this before. I recall a previous thread (I think on the MS Newsgroups) from a guy who was doing this, but he had issues. Mainly, that he could set the printer once, but could not change it again after that. Or--he could change it via code, but it only physically changed the first time. To change it again, he had to close ...

  • Re: Using XML as a secondary datasource

When populating with code, you must create a list of ''<option/>'' tags. At the start (or end) of that list, you would have your Other and N/A options. You create them the same way you create the other options coming from your XML file. It shouldn't be difficult to add them to each drop-down list when populating from code. Adding more ...
