  • Re: InfoPath 2007 Query Secondary Datasource

Hi - So, you can use code for this (here's a sample - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/826992) Or, if you are returning all items and trying to use an XPath filter to get the right one back - what is the expression you are using? Click the "Edit XPath" button in the formula editor and paste it into a reply and I might be ...

  • InfoPath 2007 Query Secondary Datasource

Good afternoon. Basically I am trying to get a value from a secondary datasource given the value ID. I wrote a query to join the main and secondary datasource to capture several fields (based on the username), and I was able to get the two main connection items, but not the secondary. If I could figure out how to pass the username from the ...

  • Infopath attachments

I am using Infopath 2010 and my users are getting an error message saying the attachments are too big. The user has 3 attachments totaling 14 Mb in size. I have set the upload limit in SharePoint to 100 Mb for all libraries. How do I increase the size limit for attachments within my form?

  • Re: Microsoft InfoPath has stopped working

I had the same issue today and although an older thread I thought I’d share my 2¢ experience.  The only difference is my environment is not the same combination as the others. I am using Win 7, IE9, InfoPath 2007 (client form) and SharePoint 2007.  And this happened just after Tuesday Windows updates…go figure! Problem: ...

  • Re: Submitted form not showing up in sharepoint.

Looks like your form is published to Incidents/Incident Tracking and your form submit is to Incidents. The submit connection needs to be changed to Incidents/Incident Tracking.

  • Re: User Information List

Hi SnTurner and welcome, This is the Claims-based authentication key. You can use the substring function to strip off the text up to the pipe character ('|'). Laura Rodgers is probably talking about InfoPath using SharePoint 2010 or 2007. But, no worries, it easy to fix with substring(username(), 7, string-length(username())) or ...

  • Re: Infopath deleting characters

Hello Paul, Thank you for posting and welcome. What kind of scanner are you using? What version of InfoPath are you using? Is this a browser form or a filler form? We have developed forms that use scanners and we have never experienced deleted characters.  Maybe there's a rule on the field that deletes ...
