Can you post a screenshot of your schema? It sounds like the schema is not designed correctly. You could also attach the form via the Options tab when replying. Thanks.

Hi-
I guess my first question would be how are you submitting from InfoPath to SQL: Is it an Database-bound form, a form built with code, are you using a web service? The second suggestion would be to check whether it is happening for just the one form, or if it happens with a second/test form.

Hi-
"Best" is subjective. It depends on what you want. You'll find a lot of people using InfoPath with SharePoint. If no one except IT has InfoPath installed, then you can use browser forms so that your users can fill out the data without having to install InfoPath.
As far as SQL integration, if you want a browser-based, InfoPath ...

That doesn't seem like normal behavior. I just created a new InfoPath form, changed the security to Full Trust and previewed successfully without an error. Hi Jonas-
You can definitely do all this but it's not something easily accomplishable out of the box. You might need some code for some of the steps. Instead, we would use qRules, which we created to simplify the development of InfoPath solution.
You can retrieve data from the list by filtering it: read this.
Then you can use the ...

Hi- Perhaps the discussion here helps to shed some light on the issue?

Hi Will-
What you're looking for is called cascading dropdowns. A Google search on that should yield a few guides on how to accomplish what you desire.
Good luck!
