On form load, I'm picking up either the username or accountname from sharepoint's user profile service.
we get different formats of the name depending on browser or how the user was entered into our profile service.
so... I want to set a rule that looks at the field we retrieve and remove extraneous domain ...

Is it possible to have only the selected items in a Multiple-Selection List Box be displayed? Obviously there would need to be some sort of reset so if you wanted to add more selections. Or is there some other way to have a large list of items that the user could select and then have only those items be displayed?

I'm not sure if a standard list data connection is going to return the rich text info - a quick test would be to put a calculated value on the form bound to the field in the secondary data source and preview to see if the bullets (or whatever the RT formatting is) shows up. Okay, I see in the SharePoint List Tool form where I can mark the field as Rich Text! Who'd a thunk? I'll try to use the CopyRichText on the incoming field to see if that works!

Are you using the RefreshListItems command? If so, you should just be able to mark the field as rich text in your mapping. If not, there is a command that copies rich text.
