Thanks for that info, AndersR!

Sorry - I haven't done much with multiple script files in a long time. I do seem to recall that, as you say, it doesn't show up in MSE... and I am not aware of a way to make it do so. I did as you are doing, which is to close, change the script, and reopen.

You cannot do this. You must populate the list via a data source. Hardcoded lists cannot be copied like you want. Create a simple XML file with a list of values, and then bind the values of each drop-down to that secondary data source.

Where are your breakpoints located? In the OnLoad event handler or elsewhere?
-
If you want the user to type in a code in one field, and have related data automatically filled in for other fields, then it sounds like what you need is to use filtered rules or OnAfterChange code.

Do you have any repeating items inside that section that gets the blue highlight?
If so, you need to put the repeaters inside a containing section to prevent their commands from bubbling up to other sections. If you right click on the section when it highlights blue, you'll see a list of commands which should help identify the offending repeaters.

If the check box is in the repeating section, and is a child node of that repeating group to which the section is bound, AND the address info in the repeating section is also part of that same repeating group, THEN the rules you place on that check box to populate the non-repeating address fields should be functioning as you expect.
Am I missing ...

This is possible but will require a lot of code. It will also mean completely replacing the current DOM with the XML pulled down from the next form in the library.

You can have multiple script files of the same language in your form. You will need to add each additional script file to the list of template resources (see Tools menu). And you will need to extract the form files to manually edit the manifest.xsf file and add a new xsf:script node for each additional script file.
