I've been following the excelllent advise given on how to Automatically Populate Fields from a Drop-Down Selection at:

This works great, the problem I have is that my Drop Down List Boxcontains a huge list of items to pick from (part codes). It would be great if the part code could be directly entered or pasted in this input field and the output field be automatically populated.

Maybe Drop Down List Box is'nt the best thing to use in this sceanerio, anyone have an idea on how I can do this please?

If you want the user to type in a code in one field, and have related data automatically filled in for other fields, then it sounds like what you need is to use filtered rules or OnAfterChange code.
