Are you using or will you be using browser-enabled forms?

The location (view) of the field should not matter, as long as your formula points to the correct xpath.
I've set up my sample to use a calculated field, but you're likely using rules. If your formula is not firing when expected, you might need to check the conditions on your rules. You should also set up the rule on all fields, ...

If this is happening will all forms you create, I can only imagine there's a bigger issue than just your form, possibly a Sharepoint issue, or InfoPath is corrupt and needs repaired.

Hi,
You can have a field (in your schema, but not in the canvas) called "CurrentTime". Set that field everytime the form opens. If the CurrentTime is past 9am, then switch to a read only view.

Thank you for your interest in Qdabra's products.

There is an Options tab, when replying, which allows you to include attachments, if those would help to explain.
Thanks.

Hi-
So the form template (and therefore the schema) are based on a SharePoint list? Is the schema locked?
When you added the Person/Group Picker to the form, what is it bound to?
If you can, please attach your form, or attach a screenshot of the form's schema. You can do this via the Options tab when replying. Thanks!

Hi-
Your formula seems to be correct: (Sum(Field1) + Sum(Field2)) / (Count(field1) + Count(field2))
I'm attaching a form that implements this formula and it seems to work for me. Can you check?
You might be facing an issue specific to your form, sadly...
