I have a drop-down list that loses its value after checking a name with a person/group picker. How can I fix that?

Hi, I need some help, please.

I am using MOSS 2007 and MS InfoPath 2010.

I have browser form with a drop down list and a person/group picker.

The drop-down list queries a SharePoint list to get its values. When the user selects an option some fields are auto-populated using the same list.

    What is the problem?

When I check a name using the person/group picker, the value from the drop-down list disappears and this is a required field.

    How can I fix this?

    Is this a postback issue?

    Thanks in advanced.

    Hi-

So the form template (and therefore the schema) are based on a SharePoint list? Is the schema locked?

When you added the Person/Group Picker to the form, what is it bound to?

If you can, please attach your form, or attach a screenshot of the form's schema. You can do this via the Options tab when replying. Thanks!

Thanks for answering but I found the solution:

I change the postback setting of the drop-down to never:
