• Is Infopath for me?

I've been tasked with taking a written form and making it digital and accessible for everyone in the company. The problem i am having is that the form needs to be filled in by multiple users, for instance the person who initiates the form, then the dispatcher, followed by the driver and so on and then saved locally to a shared drive for ...

  • Re: Codeless submitting InfoPath repeating table to a SharePoint list

Hi forum members: I've been reading posts here for quite a while looking for solutions to InfoPath related problems. I have found so many answers here. I am wondering if the CAML method for submitting repeating table lines to a SharePoint list discussed in depth here works for browser-enabled forms. Our SharePoint is under ...

  • Re: translate - replace characters with nothing ?

never mind. figured it out. made a field that i populated with all the charactes to replace, and then added that to the translate formula in stead of the quoted characters.

  • Re: translate - replace characters with nothing ?

As long as there isn't a space between the last set of quotes, you shouldn't be getting spaces - you should be getting nothing. I just tested your formula, and it worked for me as anticipated. Want to attach a form or some screenshots under the Options tab in a reply to show me the issue?

  • translate - replace characters with nothing ?

I've got a field i'm running the formula translate(fieldname, "!@#$%%", "") trying to replace those characters with nothing...no space, no dash, etc. The way i've written it here...i get spaces as replacements. How do i get the characters deleted?

  • Re: The specified data connection is not present

By older version, I meant that guide was written for qRules 2.3. Don't use the view parameter in the owssvr.dll data connection. What is the error you get when you configure the connection? Does the URL you are using work in the browser?

  • Re: The specified data connection is not present

Thanks Hilary. You were right I copied the example implementation command which had those spaces. It did work after removing the spaces. I thought that this article is applicable for SPS 2010. Further in the article the section where RefreshSharePointListItems COMMAND uses "receive connection to the list using owssvr.dll" and for ...
