You need to set the value before you submit the form. Your rule actions are in the wrong order.

Is this a list form? The type of column comes into play here. I'd assume the result of the addDays formula would be a date time?
-
Which view and which section for the show / hide rule issue? and which section is opened / closed in error? Which view and area has the white space? Your screenshot doesn't show in the post.

Ok. So the data is directly entered into the SharePoint list and you are just using the InfoPath form to display the data summarized. Is that correct? If so - try this copy, where I have added the calculated field for you with the formula I've suggested. Save the form locally. Right click the template and select Design. Then you can preview ...

My example is bound to the main data source for a reason. Do you need to store the data the user enters into that count field? Because data entered into secondary data source fields won't get saved when the form is submitted.

That screen shot is of field2, which is not repeating, and doesn't show the XPath, which based on what I saw and what was in the form, is not what I pasted in. Can you try the XPath I pasted in for your expression box in your repeating table? Instead of field2?

The main issue I see here is that field2 is not repeating, so I'd guess it would always display the same value. My guess would be you could use this for your calculated value in the "Filtered" table: sum(../d:SharePointListItem_RW/d:l8xb[../d:xqnm = current()/d:xqnm])

Yuck - this sounds terrible. You've tried the things I would have suggested. I think I'd save the form as source files (you can do this from the Publish menu) and then I would look in the manifest for the GUIDs from the logs. Feel free to attach your form to a reply (under the options tab) and I can help you.

... or maybe I forgot to attach it.... ;) Here it is.

Add a data connection to the SharePoint list and use that for the data source in the dropdown, instead of hard coding them.
