The directions you are quoting here I think are for a form built off a database, which yours is not.
The reason the only last name available in the dropdown is the user previously selected is that you are using a specific data connection for that drop down, and then are requerying that data connection for just the ...

I currently have a form built that linked successfully to my SharePoint site, the problem comes when saving the form to SharePoint. The problem comes when I have a new form for a new facility, the auto number I have setup doesn't have anything to "grab". The auto number is setup with a function that takes the ticket number and ...

Hi maryannd,
In your scenario are both sections required for the entry, or only 1 or the other?
If both are not required, you may want to use some hide/show logic based on the users selection.

Hello Guy,
Thanks for your inquiry! For what you are outlining for your forms function, there is not a way to do this out of box.

You should be able to use forms with code in an O365 environment.
Hope that helps!

Hello Garry,
For repeating data you'd either need to use CAML out of box to populate repeating data to a list, or use qRules SubmitToSharePointList in order to populate your values. Here are a few links:

Hello kwizzo,
The behavior you are describing is not something that can be done on a single button or event but there are a few work arounds to your desired outcome.
1. Create 1 form with 2 views and 2 data connections.
For this scenario, in the first view you would have the use fill out the necessary information, and on submit you would submit ...
