Yes. You will prepare a dummy xml file how your secondary datasource will look like and dump the data dynamically into the secondary datasource from the code.

Hi,
What do you want to select, select the entire form that they have filled out?
In InfoPath you cannot really do ''select all'', this does not function like MSWord or IE page.

Hi Meg,
One thing you can do is to display the data as a repeating table data instead of bulleted list.
If you add the data as a repeating table you can filter the data using the filter option available for repeating table.

Hi,
Welcome to the Forum!
You cannot get reference to the Node that is bound to a dropdown and set the values for the dropdown. You either need to fill in a secondary datasource file with the that you have and bind that secodnary datasource node to the dropdown in the Infopath design.

Hi,
Is it an Expression box then use this kind of ''XPath''
''../repeatingNode[position() - 1]/user'', check out if this helps.
If that doesnot help you can use this
''preceding-sibling::repeatingNode/user''

Which method are you using for submit
''Submit'' or ''SubmitData''.
If you are using ''SubmitData'' method then this method will not overwrite a file if the file is in use, this can be the same form.
If you are not using ''SubmitData'' then the problem is with your form ...

Hi,
It all depends on what data you need from the InfoPath form.
If you need to more than 5 fields of data then it is better of for you to submit the entire XML(if the XML file is not too big, if it is too big you might have slow submit).
If you choose entire XML option then you can accept the XML as a string from webservice side.

Hi Fred,
It looks like that the problem is on Webservice side, check your webservice logic and debug what's happenig when InfoPath submits data to the Webservice.

You can also use ''xdExtension:method()'' in the conditional formatting.
Where ''method()'' is a function in the code and in this case it returns true/false.
