• Re: Infopath C# Custom Control Namespace Prefix Problem

It seems like SelectionNamespaces is exactly what you need. It is set as a property on the document. From your code it's not clear as to where domNode is defined. You can do the following before calling your selects: domNode.ownerDocument.setProperty("SelectionNamespaces", "xmlns:n1=\"ht7p://something\""); Of ...

"Web-Enabled" (also known as "Browser forms") refers to running InfoPath forms in the web page like you've said it. This is a good introduction on it: http://blogs.msdn.com/infopath/archive/2005/12/13/tudors-overview-of-infopath-browser-based-forms.aspx Important points: - Forms Server is a separate piece of software ...

  • Re: combobox read only

Doesn't drop-down listbox do exactly what you need? And you you want to dynamically switch between combobox/dropdown, you can insert both and show/hide only one of them using conditional formatting.

  • Re: Incompatible Infopath 2003 vs 2007

It is not enough to have the form being compatible, I believe, you also need to save the template as IP2003 format. To do this, hit Save As in InfoPath Designer and change the "Save As Type" dropdown from InfoPath Form Template to InfoPath 2003 Form Template. That should do it for you.

  • Re: Help sending forms to users outside of our network

InfoPath 2007 has a much better support for e-mail scenarios. In your case since you are using InfoPath 2003, I think your best bet is to publish your form template to a location that is accessible to everyone (such as on a publicly visible HTTP server) and then send the XMLs around.

  • Re: How to validate web enabled IP forms

You cannot - OnSaveRequest is not supported in browser-enabled forms. However, if you have validation errors in your form, the user will get prompted on save. All you need to do is to add declarative validation to your fields. Mind you that the user can still choose to save.

  • re: Implementing Cascading Dropdowns in Forms Server

Hey Mark, sorry to learn that you're having problems. Technically what you are trying to do should work so probably you're just running into a small bug. Your Changed handler for myType should be re-populating the subtypeSource which theoretically should work. If you could share out your solution, maybe I could figure out what is going wrong.
