Very generous of you to offer! I've attached the template. The rules are under Form Submit--the ones that start with "Assign". There are lots, but they all do the same basic action (I'm sure it's not very efficient how I've done it. I'm still a relative newb.)

You are on to something, I however managed to solve it with a variance of this;
Re-cald should be active, otherwise X is not upadted when A+B change (this part works fine). However when hide/show of a section somewhere for some reson resets the calculation of X it therby changes X (not A or B).
Therefore I made a rule on X that when ...

I have multipul infopath forms but i want only for particular form for that am trying to get sp.clientcontext , but it's not find in FormServer.aspx page,this page present on 14 hive. if i place conformation it will show for all pages(i.e) FormServer.aspx Parent page for Infopath forms.

So I created a very sizable Infopath form over a list. The client now wants there to be a repeating field in the form. And of course list form doesn't support it. So I have to go with a Form Library. But I would like to avoid redoing all of that work again. I've saved the list form to my computer as template.xsn but it's not allowing ...

What is the formula you are trying? What is your form's schema? You can attach a template or screenshot under the Options tab in a reply.

If the rules were firing, the field would be being set by them. :) Usually, for me, this means I am setting the wrong field, or have some other logic incorrect. Remember, rules only fire when the field they are on changes (unless they are form load / submit rules).
