Actually, the "error in the custom validation code" makes me wonder if there is actual code in the form template. But this says that the XML is read only during the validating event.... so I wouldn't think the code could change anything.

OK, I spoke too soon... When both sections are dispalyed, and Search Again is clicked, it looks fine. the "hiding" works quick, and you don't see any lag/rolling. However, when only the add section is displayed, you can visibly see the table hide row by row. First the data row, then the header row and title row (bottom ...

So, I'm still guessing where this formula is being used. Now I think you are saying it is a calculated column you are trying to create to be able to filter a view? Is that right?
Wouldn't the right syntax be something like =AND([Report Month] <> "12/01/2015", [Report Month] <> "01/01/2016", [Report ...

also just tried concat(substring-before(now(), "T"), "17:00:00") and the outcome was 2016-05-0317:00:00 all in one box

Add a now () field with the following formula as a default value - substring-before(now(), "T"),
Trying to make this part work..... I've tried:
substring-before(now(), "T") (tries to fit both the time and date in the same box so all I see is the date and it's got the red verification boarder ...

I also meant to add... if the Add mini section is the only section displayed in the Results section when Search Again is clicked. It still has a "rolling" hiding... where it does #2 and #3 above. I'm thinking it change that repeating table into just a table, that that could take care of that difference.

Hi, I have an IP 2010/QRules 6.1 form that I'm having issue with hiding sections.
The form has a "Search" area at the top (always visible), and a Results section that is conditionally shown based on a trigger field that is set when the user clicks the Search button. Originally the trigger field is set to 0, but ...

Its actually a formula to remove those items I listed by the dates shown. But I am stuck. Do you know of a better why to do that?
