    Text Formula in Sharepoint Validation

     Hello world! I am stuck in a rut and I need someone to pull me out. I am trying to remove items from view based on the date so my code looks like this:

    =if
    (
    [Team] in
    (
    "Independent Testing - Business Control & Channel Delivery",
    "Independent Testing -  Complaints",

    )
    &
    [Report Month] <>
    (
    "12/01/2015", "01/01/2016", "02/01/2016", "03/01/2016"
    ),"OK", "NOT OK"
    )
     But of course SharePoint is giving me a whammy!!!

    So - this is a validation formula in your SharePoint List? I wouldn't think a <> operator would work with a list...

     Thank you for responding, what operator can I use?

     Its actually a formula to remove those items I listed by the dates shown. But I am stuck. Do you know of a better why to do that?

     So, I'm still guessing where this formula is being used. Now I think you are saying it is a calculated column you are trying to create to be able to filter a view? Is that right?

    Wouldn't the right syntax be something like =AND([Report Month] <> "12/01/2015", [Report Month] <> "01/01/2016", [Report Month] <> "02/01/2016", [Report Month] <> "03/01/2016")?

    Here is an MSDN page with syntax info: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/bb862071(v=office.14).aspx
