Hi --
The Id field from a list or library in SharePoint is only used once, so, yes, if you have an item with an id of '1', that will be the only '1' you'll ever have...
It does seem odd that your data connection is only getting data for the active form! That is very unSharePoint like -- usually it gives you way more data than ...

Sorry for the delay, it has been a crazy week. You can just use this.NamespaceManager and you'll get the right one.
string csprojtitle = e.Source.SelectSingleNode("ns:projectTitle", this.NamespaceManager).Value;
Put a breakpoint in your code at that line, and run the code in debug. Hover over e.Source to make sure ...

Hi:
I had this issue recently, where I was getting an error about VS 2005 not being on my machine. Hi -- how are you currently populating the cell that works correctly (on open)? Are you using a default value? Did you know that on a repeating table you can set defaults that are just used when a user inserts a row into a repeating table?

string quant = e.Source.SelectSingleNode("ns:CSQuantity").Value;

So this would be another view in the same form that you use to submit the data to the database? You can add another query data connection in your form that queries the database where you are storing all your leave data. Then, for each of your leave types, you can add a repeating table bound to that data source. Filter each table according to leave ...

Ah, so you have check boxes bound to the @Title field from the ShP list. What do you want to have happen when the checkbox is selected (aside from *not* changing the title to 'yes')?

If you save your form as source files, you can look at template.xml or sampledata.xml to see your main data source XML, this may help you get the XPath to your data nodes correct. I'd guess that it is going to be "dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:tbl_GC100/@Lockbox".
