Hilary, Thank you very much for your response!!!
It's just that really, getting the data from a repeating table. All the rest is just fluff. :-)
I had considered your solution, and as a last resort I suppose I could go that way, if nothing else works. The only problem is that there is no limit to the possibilities. What I had considered was ...

Where are you using this? In a field? The "." stands for the current node, so I'd guess instead of the dot after eval(eval( you need to pick the actual repeating node bound to the list box.

Hi - I'm sorry, I'm a little confused by the description - but it is not simple out of the box to copy repeating data into an InfoPath form, as you are seeing. The only no code option I know of is to use default data - basically, you add as many rows by default as you'll ever think you'll need, then you use rules to populate ...

Hi - just add another field (it doesn't have to be on your form if you don't want it to be) and put a rule on the attachment field to set it - see attached sample. Save the linked file locally, right click and select Design to open in design mode - then you can preview to check it out.

Thanks again - got it figured out! Really appreciate the help and guidance!
Mike :)

Attach your form to a reply under the options tab with info on the field that has the rules and I'll give you a hand.

I was able to resolve this later that day! Thank you :)

I was able to re-write my rules to make this work! Thanks!! Solved on 5/16/2016.

Thanks you for the information!! I tried to follow the mentioned link and modify it so that it is just using the one drop-down to populate to the fields but can't seems to get it right... Any additional help would be greatly appreciated!!!! Mike :)

We do use repeating attachments in two different sections of the form.. but when these files are archived, one of those sections will already be empty of file attachments. I will give that a try in our Dev environment and see how it goes. I will post a reply as to how it works out.
