You'll want to set the Credit field to Credit + Amount. I've attached a sample template to this post -- all the rules are on Amount (field2, sorry, I was lazy and didn't rename). You can right click the link in the post header and save the template locally, then open in design mode and preview to test.

In your form library, you have the option to relink your forms to the template. The exact steps are different depending upon which version of WSS you are using, but this link to an InfoPath Team Blog post may help you.

Are you using InfoPath 2003 or 2007? If 2007, I'd suggest you use VSTA and C# code -- I find it MUCH easier than JScript. Here is a fantastic article by S.Y.M. Wong-a-Ton that might help you get started....

Hi:
Copying repeating data from a secondary data source into a main data source is possible 2 different ways:

Have you seen this link? The replier suggests:
The problem is due to the fact that the xml is launched from the user’s local cache, which is NOT a trusted site, thus making the contact selector un-usable.
I don't know if that is the case in your scenario, but might be something worth investigating?

Can you use the Contact Selector control? More info here.

Hi:
Can you use Open Rules for this? Have a condition that if the Employee Id is not blank, and an action to set your webservice's query field for Employe Id to that value, then add another action to run the query for that data source? Then you could add another rule to set the value of the Leave field. That's how I'd do it with ...
