Nope, the default save behavior is an IP 2007 template. If you want it to be 2003 compat, you need to save as and select the InfoPath 2003 Form Template option.

This sample (IP2003) uses the OnContextChanged event to determine when a hyperlink inside a section has been clicked. You'd need to update to 2007 OM, and I haven't tested it in a browser form, but I think the general idea would work for you.

Hi -- you can't add rows to a new table without code (or qRules, currently free and available here). But I'm curious -- why the two repeating groups in your data structure if they both collect the same information?

You can put different information in different sections and conditionally hide them based on the value of the field bound to the checkbox. I'm attaching a sample. You can right click the link in the header, save the file locally, then right click the saved file to open the file in design mode.

Can you just right click the file and select Extract All? Try another machine? Or just post your xsn here and I'll extract your source files for you...

Here is what I'm trying to understand. When are you querying your secondary data connection to your web service? When you set the sample value and you set it up, IP queries to create the data source. But the next step in the web service data connection for a receive connection, as far as I know, doesn't allow you to specify form fields for ...

I'm not seeing where you set the query fields in your GetRemainingBudgetValue to the values in VarJobNumID and VarCategory. I'd expected to see rules on those fields that would set the query fields in the GetRemaningBudgetValue data source. Are you doing this in code? If so, can you reply with the code?

Do you mind attaching your form template to a reply to this post (under the Options tab there is a place you can attach a file).
