I am a newbie, and i am designing a form with infopath that contains student academic records (scores). I want to know the actual syntax that can calculate a grading score automatically, such as 100 - 90% will apear 'A'. Lets say, i have 2 fields, field1 and field2. If field1 contains a value of 90 - 100%, then field2 should appear ...

Thank you so much for your sample. I used a similar approach but used a count variable field to do so. I built this variable to restrict the number of rows to be inserted using the preceding sibling function then I used a rule to say that if count = 1 then week day = Monday and so on. Count--> count(preceding-sibling::*) + 1, ...

Hi,
I'm working on a Expense Report form in InfoPath, and I need to sum a field in a repeating table meeting a criteria -Déjà vu-
I need to sum the 'Amount' only when the 'Payment' = "Personal Funds"

2. If i do find that ID how to I use that to filter in conditions, do I input a number or is there another way to use sharepoint list ID to filter within conditions.
thank you again

In general, when a condition is not applied when I expect it to be, I either have the condition wrong, or I am incorrect in what the current value is. I'm guessing you are currently hiding if the security role is blank or if the security role contains directors? Is that the case? Try putting the security role field on your form as a text ...

See the attached sample - I used an XML file for the days of the week data and a filtered default that leverages the count of preceding siblings. :)
Just in case you didn't know this - save the file locally, right click and select design to open in design mode.

I have a dropdown box that is filled from a sharepoint list, The list includes roles of directors, now we want directors to be able to be selected but a warning to flash if and only when some title that includes directors is selected, all options would not have the warning spring up.
Right now the idea was to use a section control that is ...
