Hello,
I am currently in the middle of a project in which I will be combining 5 separate forms that have all different fields/rules. I have figured out how to copy/paste the fields and groups that I want into a different form's schema file, but I'm having problems figuring out the rules. Anyone have any tips for extracting the rules ...

I'm guessing you published to a library - that this is not a list form? I don't believe InfoPath Forms Services (which is what is needed to render an InfoPath form in the browser) is included with Foundation.

What would help me understand best would be a copy of the template. Can you attach it to a reply under the options tab?

Hi - can you try attaching your screenshots under the Options tab in a reply? They don't show. :) You may need to add the field in the edit view if this is a SharePoint list form that was customized in InfoPath.

Usually, if I need the id for other reasons, I add an additional field to the form (not displayed, just in the schema) and use a default value to get back the Title of the item selected - so you'd set the default to be the Title field where the ID in the list data connection is equal to your form field bound to the dropdown. Make sense?

I have created an InfoPath form that is used for conducting audits. There are several views that contain different audits that can be conducted. For the sake of saving time, I'll only speak on the first view. On this view, I have 6 questions, each having 3 option buttons for answers: Yes, No, and N/A. Yes has a default value of Yes, ...

Thanks for that explanation Hilary. So if my form uses a save button, should I also run the refresh command after submit to ensure that any updates made to the repeating data are captured in the list because when the refresh command was run at form load, those nodes/IDs didn't exist? It's interesting but the refresh command works for me ...
