It is fairly easy to modify the view .xsl file to use the concat() function to show both fields in the drop-down list.
i.e. concat(my:item, '': '', my:description)
The concat is just be used for the display value. This would not affect the stored value at all.

I use InfoPath on a 2003 Server system all the time. I don't have any issues with it. I'm wondering if there's an issue with the copy.
1. When you copy, is the destination location the same exact path as the source location? I.e. both are c:\myforms?
2. Try right-clicking the .xsn file and choosing Design. Then re-save/publish to the same ...

If you always ...

I don't know exactly what your schema looks like, so I'm taking a stab in the dark here...
It looks like you are trying to perform the ''ALL'' functionality in this code. You don't want to waste time selecting a check box that is already selected, so you only want to get those that are not selected. So the XPath might look something ...

So I was given the solution ...
The first problem was when I dragged the datasource on the form, a recursive section was created for the first level of recursion. I was expecting the same for the second level of recursion ...
Actually, I need to create the second recursive section myself.
Second problem, when trying to create this recursive ...

We have a requirement where a drop-down list box would need 2 columns. (Item / Description) I would need to show both columns/fields because the description helps the user pick the correct item. Only the item would be stored in the field. I could use a secondary data source or store the list directly in the form - How can this be done and what ...

I am having problem in setting the check box value. I was able to loop thru all the value but having trouble is setting the specific node. Please see code below.
if( eventObj.Operation == ''Insert'' )
{
if ((eventObj.Site.selectSingleNode( ''../my:officeSelected'').text == ''true'') && (eventObj.Site.selectSingleNode( ...
