Thanks Greg! The first time, I tried your suggestion it didn't work. In that case, I used 'Extract From Files' from the file menu. Next, I modified the appropriate .xsd.

I was looking at thisxdocument.UI object, there is method called ''SetSaveAsDialogFileName'' method. This method prefills the filename in the save dialog box's filename area.
This method takes one ''string'' argument that is filename.
This maynot solve your problem totally but will help you to some extent.

You cannot submit a form to sharepoint with restricted security.
You need to have ''Automatically determine security level based on form design''(Domain Trust) or above(Full trust). So your second error was bound to happen with restricted security.

We used ''Insert'' and ''Delete'' operations, but we have not come across ''Update'' operation till now. I vaguely remember somebody telling me that ''Update'' operation is there but will not occur at any point of time.
Please let us know if you have any additional info.
Thanks!

We can set filename when the form is submitted instead of saved.

Hi Jhon,
Welcome to the Forum!
You need to add a Rule which queries your sharepoint list when you select ''DocOwner''. (There is a rule which can query a dataconnection)
Add another Rule which sets values for other two fields.
Hope this Helps!
