• Re: Event while opening a documenty

Hi Shyananth, For InfoPath Form Libraries, the answer is yes. For SharePoint in general, I'm not sure. You can have an Event Handler registered but I'm not sure which event to trap. Patrick Halstead [InfoPath MVP] InfoPathDev

  • Re: sharepoint installation

Hi Neugi, What was the problem? Once again, I'm sorry but this is still just an InfoPath forum. We will be expanding to include SharePoint in the near future. Patrick Halstead [InfoPath MVP] InfoPathDev

  • Re: eventObj's members list

Hi Raveed and welcome to our forum! No, MSE doesn't support Intellisense like Visual Studio. You can install Visual Studio, create a project and do what you are suggesting, but MSE doesn't support it. Patrick Halstead [InfoPath MVP] InfoPathDev

  • Re: Developing forms using existing forms?

Hi Grabo and welcome to our form, Yes, you can extract the schema.xsd from the existing form (File->Extract Form Files) and use that as an input into your new forms. Patrick Halstead [InfoPath MVP] InfoPathDev

  • Re: InfoPath with Excel and Access = Report system?

Hi Panda and welcome to our forum! 1. You can create a data source for tables in your Access database. Go to Forms->DataConnections->Add->Retrieve, etc. Or do this when you first design a form. 2. It uses ADO.NET. 3. Lots of samples in the InfoPath SDK. Is the website that you published it to in your domain? Do you have .NET code in your form? Patrick Halstead [InfoPath MVP] InfoPathDev

  • Re: XML File loads existing data source

Hi Richard, Can you use a main data source for your my.xsd and a secondary data source for the other data connections? Patrick Halstead [InfoPath MVP] InfoPathDev

  • Re: Error message removal

Hi Chantanya and welcome to the forum! I have never seen this error - it is very rare. My guess is that the form was published with a digital certificate from a non-trusted Certificate Authority root. Patrick Halstead [InfoPath MVP] InfoPathDev
