Is it possible to fire an event while opening an document inside a document library.
in SPListEvent there are only update, delete and insert etc.. but not finding an event to fire while opening a document

For InfoPath Form Libraries, the answer is yes. For SharePoint in general, I'm not sure. You can have an Event Handler registered but I'm not sure which event to trap.
