Is http://moss2:5555/FormServerTemplates/Datalog-EOC-Bestellbestätigung_test.xsn the correct URL for the form template? So this is a browser form? What is the trust level on your template? Not sure if this will help you at all, but you may want to take a look at this link. Is your form template set to update existing XML?
There should be a ...

No "Show Details" button, huh? That's too bad.
You could try creating a very basic form with no data connections and publishing it to a new form library, then see if your test users can open that template -- may help you narrow it down if it is a permissions issue to the database (I'm guessing you based the form on the ...

Actually, since it only occurs when you upload an XML file, I'd find it more likely that the XML isn't properly linked to the template. Do you have the correct processing instruction in your XML, with the correct template location? What happens if you open one of your uploaded XML files and then resave it -- are your promoted properties ...

Have you tried 'relinking' the uploaded XML? More here....

EDIT: Also, what version of InfoPath -- 2003 or 2007? Everyone using the same version?

My issue was one that was consistently reproducible -- if I had more than a certain amount of text in a field, it would be truncated.

Have you thought about using option buttons for this? With option buttons you can only select one.

Hi -- when you say "uploaded as a template" do you mean that you published the form to a form library? Or that you just uploaded the template like a regular document? You will want to publish the template so that others can open it. Here's some more info on publishing.... and there are no stupid questions (if there were, I'd get ...

Hi -- any kind of consistency in what is missed in the Export? I had a form once that did this -- it was specifically in a repeating section that had a lot of text.... What controls are losing text? When you say it is intermittent -- does that mean that the exact same XML sometimes loses text and sometime doesn't? Or that some XML from the ...

Well, here is the thing with rules on fields -- they only fire when the field changes. When your user opens a filled out form, none of the rules you have set on your first drop down would run unless he or she changes the value that is selected. That's why you need to run your query again when opening existing XML. Remember, form templates only ...
