Hi Thierry,
You have asked some great questions. The schema editor in InfoPath was called CME (Content Model Editor) during V1 and SP1. The CME is limited in the kinds of schema it can edit. If you create a schema from within InfoPath it is marked as a CME schema. If you import a schema it is labeled as non-CME. Because CME can't edit everything ...

Hi Richard,
Sorry for the confusion, but I believe you can do this manually. Need to check, but my guess is the wizard doesn't support it. However, you can extract the form files, and manually modify the xsf to include xsd for your 2DS xml file.

Hi Larry,
Unfortunately, this is one of the big limitations of InfolPath. We have been complaining about this for over 6 months to the Microsoft team and I am hopeful that they will address this in the next release.

Is there any way to place a control into a header or footer.
I need to place a copy of a text box on each page of a form that has many optional sections. I can't tell where the page is going to break, and therefore would like to put the text box into a footer....?
Thanks.

2. Yes, this is what I am suggesting. Sorry... I guess my ...

I have a known schema my.xsd , so, I have 2 options:
1- design a form using schema my.xsd as the main form. Upon importFile anytime the file matches the schema of my.xsd , the form will update with data. However, I learned from the SDK that the merge occurs only for the repeating items.. So , this will not work for standard import,
Does Custom ...

My customer wants to have ''canned'' findings displayed in a text box, one at a time. The field inspector will select from a list of several canned ''Finding'' comments, all about one paragraph long. Then these comments can be edited then submitted. The idea is to shorten the time it takes to type, and also to have the ''Findings'' comments ...
