Hi Agni,
Thanks a lot that work great!
Just a little things, for fun! you say:
quote:newDocument.loadXML(Xmlr.xml);
But with an XMLDocument you don't have this method!
So I have change by:
quote:newDocument.loadXML(Xmlr.OuterXml);

Hi Rajkumar and welcome to our forum!
Did you go to the properties for the dropdown, connect it to the web service data connection, and select the field to use to populate?

That returns the username but you'll still need some way to pull down the user's holiday info which requires authentication.

I'm using a webservice in the infopath, which return a string array (or) a dataset which contain a single column.
I want to display the returned dataset (or) Array in Dropdown Box, to select the data for other Query.
I couldn't bound that repeating data with dropdown box?
Please help me on this.
Thankx

Hi RBBivens,
OnSubmit handlers to do e-mail? SharePoint Notifications? Event handlers? These are three approaches that might help.

Hi again,
Correct, but you can write code to save the form on submit to a form lib and you might be able to programmatically set the column info, but seems like a lot of work and hardcoded. I can't think of a good way to accomplish what you want. Why are you mixing XML forms and files though?

Hi Roy,
Have you experimented with conditional formatting? Double click on a control, go to display, add a condition and make it dependent on a ''tick''. You can do this with entire sections to switch on and off parts of the view to customize it for the request type at hand. Declarative syntax rules!
