Hi Fred,
Interesting problem. You need to have a submit/retrieve data connection for your main data source. Is it currently just submit?

Matt, great idea! InfoPath rules are hard to debug and a tool to step through them would be very cool, but would require hooking InfoPath.exe itself which would require an object model that doesn't exist ... Anyway, debugging declarative logic is a big issue for InfoPath. It's easy to do stuff without code, but it's hard to figure out why it ...

Hi Tom and Troy,
Did you guys download our AD Web Service? If not, you can still look at the threads posted on it for info on how to connect InfoPath to AD Web Services. The $19.95 download contains useful instructions as well. This is by far our most popular download and tons of people use it. For $19.95, it's hard to beat.

Hi M2Land,
Check out our Database Accelerator in the Downloads-Free section. There's a free eval version you can use to do this. No coding required! :)

Hi Matt,
Yes, this has been on our HowTo list for a long time. We have several samples of doing this, but no time this week. Couple hints are that it's easier to debug code than the XSLT. The Program Manager for this feature suggests writing code OnMergeRequest to do the custom merge since the XSLT can be hard to figure out.

Hi Ppuddick,
From the Designer, you can go to Tools->Data Connections. Select your e-mail connection and click modify. The default option is to attach the form to the e-mail data connection. Once you set that up, you can write code to it and it should still attach the form. Hope this helps.

Unfortunately, you cannot use dynamic data in your header, so Company Name is probably hard. I have heard rumors that this is fixed in some future release ....
Controlling where page breaks occur is possible but not programmatically so, which means you will get bad page breaks and your printed form will likely cut off.
You can print InfoPath ...

Hi Trent,
Great question. I have no idea. While there are numerous printing problems with InfoPath, I have not heard of this specific one. Good luck!
