Previously I was using cascading WSS lists to contain info that would be used in cascading drop downs in an InfoPath form, but ran into a strange issue where not all available selections were being displayed. I then searched some more and came across Create a Cascading List from a Hierarchical Data Source and after testing this, comverted my ...

Is the form XSN file stored on the network and the simply go to the folder and double-click to fill it out and then save the XML files locally? Or do you manually send each person a XSN? You should be able to do this with InfoPath's ''Publish'' functionality rather easily.

This gets really annoying, because you have to redo your Customize Commands whenever you copy a table from one view to another. I really hope this is not a ''feature''.
Reproduction:
1) Create a new blank form.
2) Create a second view on this form called ''v2''.
3) Switch back to ''View 1''.
4) Add a repeating table control with 3 columns to ...

Hello. Does anyone know of a tutorial or book that helps with developing basic workflow in Infopath using webparts. I'd like to do some real basic workflow in Infopath without having to use Biztalk Server. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

And later perhaps he opens the form again. But in my database something has changed. So I need to Update the form from the database. But I don't know ...

That should be simple. If you have a send data connection to a web service you should have the ability to select the field or group that you want to submit. In this case, you would select the group that represents your repeating table.

Hi,
Ok, I have now generated a Web Service Interface to the stored procedure using SQLXML. I can now insert data in my database.
However it is only the top row of a repeating table that is sent to the Web Service. Is there some smart way of submitting all data in a repeating table?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Connie,
Are you working from a form with the xsn extension or from a manifest.xsf file?

Hi,
If you follow exactly the steps described in the Lab, you shouldn't have any error message. You may want to start from scratch (both the control and the form).
On the other hand, the ''black area'' issue is a different story. When you try to print a form with a VB6-based ACtiveX control on it, parts of the controls (such as buttons) will ...
