This goes in the OnAfterChange event of your checkbox on View A. This is of course for the case when e.NewValue = ''true'' (checkbox was checked).

Thank you! Now - just so I don't go bumbling around in my already way too slow design mode, can you please confirm exactly where I'm supposed hang this code? On the onAfterChange event for each checkbox?
If I understand both of you this means that I can actually do this without turning it in to a huge Visual Studio project? Way cool...
Thanks ...

Hi,
You don't need to switch View. As Greg explained, you are going to manipulate the main DOM by code. If you append a child in a repeating section, it is View independent. It will be reflected when you go to the View where a control is bound to that repeating section.
Now, to manipulate your DOM, start there:

Whether using rules or code, you should be able to first determine whether the notes node exists. If it does, then you copy it.
Use conditional formatting on the field in the view. If it is blank, hide it.

Thank you thank you thank you for responding!!! Many people in my organization will be very pleased if I can pull this off by Monday, so please pardon my seeming panic... ;)

If that is accurate, then you should be using the OnAfterChange event handler for the check box. If the value is TRUE then you would use code to ...

Did you create the data source using InfoPath or did you start from a pre-existing schema?
If the latter, that is probably the issue. You will need to update your schema to allow signatures. The easiest way to do this is to create a new blank form and add the signatures you want, and then copy that portion of the schema over to your exisitng ...

Hi,
To uninstall, you can delete your xsn file and do the cleanup in the registry manually by removing the form urn from:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\11.0\InfoPath\SolutionsCatalog
Bonne chance.

Hi all,
here's my question: in the sharepoint site there's a list linking the users to the countries (UserID, Country) and in the form library a field ''Country'' is shown coming from the form infopath. Well, I need to add to a form library a filter so that a user can view only the forms published by the users of the same country...
Well, it ...
