I understand right now what happened in my infopath xml.
Look:
1.My connection lost, is because a dataset as a disconnected datasource when data are updated via webservice then infopath dont know if data has changed and for this primary reason dont let me change data until i make a requery.

I have a table in Access, which is my datasource, the user makes a selection then the data is submitted to access. an update query needs to be run to calculate a field and then return the data back to InfoPath. Is there a way that i can i get infopath to run the query or have the query run automatically on the table.

i understand you because i have the same problem, sadly using the datadapter wizard to set up ur dataset and create automatically all ur routines(insert,update,delete) not is the way.
I do the next:
Firs i create all my object and routines by code (nothing typed).
And for the submit data when infopath return dataset to my webservice as dataset ...

If u wish have only scheme of your dataset without data, maybe need try using the GetXmlSchema method of dataset and load then in a xmldocument to getback to IP.
xmlDoc.LoadXml(ds.GetXml())
