Hi Dave,
Sure thing. You can do this with Rules or with Code. For the Rules approach double click on the type selection and go to Rules. Define a rule to set a field's value (in this case the revised total field). Then, you can use XPath to sum the values in your table and multiple by 0.75 or whatever. You may also want to add the same rule to ...

Hi Well0549 and welcome to our forum!
The data connection wizard (for submit to Web service) should have the option of specifying the textbox that you want to send as a paramater. Did you try the wizard?

Hi Alex,
We're incredibly busy right now. The AD Web service doesn't work well across domains. You could probably set up some trust relationship between the domains but you might still have issues.
Glad to hear that the GetUserInfo method works well.

Hi Mike,
Sweet solution you've got! This is very similar to what we did with the Database Accelerator. We even use an InfoPath form to configure the shredding. Unlike you we save the XML blob to the DB for data fidelity and use Web parts on SharePoint to view the data. We used to have SharePoint forms and the database but had synch issues when ...

Hi Fred,
What is the data flow of your solution? You have InfoPath submitting to an XML Web service. How is SharePoint involved? I need to understand what you are trying to do before I can understand the question.

Hi Craig,
Cool question and very relevant. Surprised this hasn't come up before. I think adding an event handler to SharePoint is one possible solution but will require code and server install. Another possibility is to use a Web service to save the forms and restrict user permissions on the form library, but then you lose some functionality. I ...

You can do a search for ''Secondary DOM'' in this forum to get some samples.
