Hi,
I have some date fields in my table and i want to do an datediff query in access to update a new field called time_difference. I either need to run the update query from infopath or some how get the table to update itself, when new dates are selected in infopath.
any help would be most appreciated.

Hi Anders,
Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately I've tried setting the Timeout property and the request still times out after around 30 seconds, even though I do the following:
// 'GetGroupMembers' web service...
adapterWeb = (WebServiceAdapterObject)thisXDocument.DataAdapters[''GetGroupMembers''];
// Set the timeout to be longer for this ...

Hi David
if you are using managed code, just set the timeout property of your web reference class to a higher value.

At the end if the post i have pasted my version of the code from Matthews and Patricks book (basicly i translated the VB from the book to C# using a reflector). Some conversions were made, for example i use a class not a struct because of null handling.

I've got a fairly ugly solution to your problem but it's the best I've got to offer at the moment (C# code):

//
WebServiceAdapterObject adapterWeb; // used to reference web service data adapter
// 'GetUserData' web service...
adapterWeb = ...

I have a web service which enumerates an Active Directory group with around 90 members. When hosted on my development machine, the web service takes around 4-5 seconds to return.
Unfortunately when the web service is hosted on the development virtual server it takes considerably longer and causes the following error:

Well, it should work. Look at this sample from Greg:http://www.infopathdev.com/howto/tutorials/default.aspx?i=d663d7df90e94e65abb02632966e8127

Hi all,
Has anyone tried using the Position() as the default value for a textfield under a repeating group? Well surprisingly it doesn't work. But for an expression box it works fine.
Does anyone have a solution for this?

Hi,
This was my third post to this forum but i could not get even a single answer. Are my questions unclear or am I asking something illogical?
