Did you escape the \ character? You probably need to have something like C:\\GA10605.mdb or something like that.

AndersR...This was an issue I ran into. I wanted to .NET Managed code but I need to used an ''integrated'' taskpane, I could not use certificates and I had to use sharepoint for deployment (I could not do a msi to install as you described earlier.). I had ...

Hi,
You have secondary data sources for your lists then, right? You can loop through your secondary DOM by code (do a search on this forum for code sample), and just assign the value you need to the node in your main DOM (thisXDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode(''YourXPath'')).

Hi Frank,
Just to clarify, I am populating the DDL from a sharepoint list (which has name and email columns). The DDL in the infopath form reads from this list (with value as email address and display name as name).
Where and how do I pre-populate the node.
Thank You

Hi Vasudha,
Yes, just pre-populate your node linked to your DDL with the initial value you wish to have.

Matt,
Your work around sounds great. I'm experiencing more or less the same problem. Has you solution worked? If so, are you able to share the script you had to write to get it to work?
