When you hooked you InfoPath form into the webservice, InfoPath inferred the schema from your webservice.
Two options come to my mind.
1 - Have the webservice return a strongly typed dataset and I believe InfoPath will use the schema defined in the dataset (I am assume you are passing through a dataset from your webservice to InfoPath).
2 - Go ...

My last (and first btw ;-) InfoPath project, has more than 1000 lines of code in it, with both taskpane and modal boxes and the customer didnt want to spend $200 on a code signing certificate.

Hi,
I have the same problem sometimes! Close and re-open your form and normally that will work! But it's probably a bug of infopath!

nope, I don't think backslashes are required....I actually tested the code myself on a VB-based project, and it works fine. That's why I think that Kelly may have an issue with the db itself.

Hi Adam,
you could try 2 things:
1. Work with your attributes as if they were nodes, not attributes (if you built your schema using InfoPath).
2. Keep you code but create your schema with XMLSpy.
Tell me if it helps.

I'm having a problem where InfoPath kills my working schema mySchema.xsd. I have the following:
<xsd:element name=''list''>
<xsd:complexType>
<xsd:sequence>
<xsd:element ref=''my:list-item'' minOccurs=''0'' maxOccurs=''unbounded''/>
</xsd:sequence>
<xsd:attribute name=''is-condition-list'' ...

- You can open your mdb manually, right? It is not corrupted?
- You have your reference to System.Data?
