To answer this I'd need a little more information. What do you mean by ''New Record'' and ''Refresh''? Could you explain the behavior you expect?

Unfortunately date calculations are not possible without code in InfoPath 2003. The following entry on the InfoPath team blog discussed the code involved.

In addition, without code a form user can insert a blank row then copy paste a single or multiple rows into that single blank row. The trick is how to select a row to copy it. The easiest way is to click in a field at the begining of the row then hold down SHIFT and click any other field in that row or in an adjacent row above or below. That ...

You are right, Patrick.
I thought the condition check is sufficient. But I was wrong. Once I ''stop executing rules'', the duplicate InfoPath window is gone.

I was curious if there is anyway to do a simple time calculation using 3 text boxes in a form. Also what limitations are there to this (i.e. Can only use military time, etc.) Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

That means that with your query statement you are not retrieving the node. Your XPath looks a little screwy, try something more like this:
GMSRef = XDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode(''/my:myFields/my:group3/my:Date'');

I now get an Object Required error. I am using Jscript in case that makes a difference.
