When you're using the dialogs to select the AF_Validated field, there should be a dropdown to let you select "Any instance of" and then you can select equals "N" to hide/disable the button.

It looks like your OnSubmit event handler is throwing an exception. It looks like your code is trying to access a data connection that doesn't exist. Do you have code like that?
Edit: Looking at the code from that blog, there is a line that accesses a data connection called "Main submit". Do you have a data ...

I believe a workaround for my:nodeName[last()] is to use my:nodeName[count(following-sibling::my:nodeName) = 0]. Could you give that a try?

I think Microsoft's current stance is to use InfoPath with VSTA, and by VSTA, that means the 2005 version bundled with office. I know it carries its share of drawbacks, but I haven't found it to be that bad.

It could be a problem with your DLL reference. There are two versions of the InfoPath 2007 OM, one for browser forms, and one for client forms. It sounds like you're referencing the browser version.
My MSTA shows the browser version existing at
C:\Program Files\Microsoft ...

Looks like your code was cut off.

Hello GemenZ,
Sorry to hear you've been losing sleep over this matter. It is possible to conditionally hide certain rows within a repeating section, but I'm not graspoing the logic you have at work here. For example, why would selecting 1 in the second dropdown cause section 2 to be hidden? What's the logic behind ...
