You do know that ''XPATH/TO/TicketNumber/Field'' was just an example and you must substitute proper XPath to match your form's schema, right?
The new ticket number will not be put into the database until the entire ticket is submitted. The ticket number will be inserted along with every other piece of data.
You cannot reference contents within ...

Try relinking your forms.
1) On the Document Library page that you have the form stored to click ''Modify Settings and Columns''.
2) Click Relink forms to this form library
3) Check all checkboxes
4) click Relink Forms

Thanks for responding. My code is similar to your psuedo.
I am getting an error ''undeclared reference to namespace prefix dfs''
I am unsure how to reference the data source and run the query properly.

Thanks,
Marc

oEmail.To = XDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode(''dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:MainData/@Mail'').text;
When you get the ''Object required'' error it is almost always an XPath error.
I'm not sure what you mean by your second question, but to concatenate the e-mail ...

I just ran the following code in the OnClick of a button and the button behaved as if I was actually clicking the checkbox. What language are you using?
function CTRL2_5::OnClick(eventObj)
{
var check = XDocument.DOM.selectSingleNode( ''//my:field1'' );
if( check.text == ''true'' )
check.text = ''false'';
else
check.text = ...
